Day 2 recap of CWLVegas

After narrowly missing out on a spot in Pool Play via the play in tournament on Thursday, Imperial Call of Duty still had a chance to book their spot in one of the four pools. Competing alongside over 200 other Call of Duty teams, it would not be an easy task. Let’s take a look at what happened.

After a first-round bye, the team faced SoGood Esports in their first match of the Open Bracket. A swift 2-0 victory for the squad set up a game with PWR in the next round. Another clean sweep for the team moved them a step closer to Pool Play.

The final game of the evening saw the squad play against TrainHarder. Despite playing all day, the team kept their momentum rolling as they secured yet another 2-0 sweep to advance to the fifth round of the Open Bracket.

A great start to the tournament for the team! The second day of action will see Imperial CoD take on Regal Reserve for a chance to move into the championship game!
